My mission is to provide practical tools, up-to-date, evidence-based information and resources specific to the needs of the individuals, couples, and families I serve, in a warm and supportive environment to attain the personal, relationship, and career goals to which they aspire.
I strive to be challenging and direct, but not judgmental; open minded and willing to let people explore options in life; careful to not rush to diagnose and pathologize ; and deeply respectful of the intricacies of the human condition.
I’ve been a clinical psychologist in private practice for 33 years and my passion for helping people grows each year. I treat a broad spectrum of behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal disorders. I treat the person, and not just the disorder, using a comprehensive, individualized strategy that includes a wide range of clinical skills and interventions.
A mentor once shared with me that one of life’s blessings is when one human being can take another human being out of pain. I heard it back then; I understand it now.
The meaning of my professional life lies in helping the people I serve discover and realize the meaning of their lives. I am relentless in the pursuit of that intention.
My office is conveniently located at the corner Pacific Park Drive and Mareblu Lane (one block west of Moulton Parkway) in the Pacific Park Medical-Dental building.
